PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which enhances usability of a user interface for acquiring a user instruction by using short-range radio communication.SOLUTION: A user interface device 12 which performs short-range radio communication with a portable device 20 to acquire an instruction given to the portable device 20 by a user, comprises: a reception unit 14 which receives signals from the portable device 20 via the short-range radio communication; one or more detection units 15 and 16 which are arranged at respective positions fixed on the basis of the reception unit 14, and detect strength of the signals; and a control unit 17 which acquires at least two signal strength among the signal strength received at the reception unit 14 and the signal strength detected by the one or more detection units 15 and 16, and determines an instruction associated with a difference in the acquired signal strength as an instruction of the user. |
