PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device capable of quickly supplying liquid from a second liquid storage body when the liquid cannot be supplied to a recording head from a first liquid storage body. ! SOLUTION: A recording device comprises: a recording head ejecting ink onto a sheet; and a large capacity storage body and a reserve tank storing the ink supplied to the recording head. Further, in the recording device, an ink supply source with respect to the recording head is switched from the large capacity storage body to the reserve tank (step S28) in the case where an ink residual amount of the large capacity storage body is less than a second residual amount (step S23: YES). !
