This endoscopic device (1) comprises: a light source unit (3) which emits white light or narrow band light as illumination light; an imaging element (202) in which a plurality of pixels are arranged; a color filter (202a) which constitutes a filter unit with a plurality of filters in which the number of filters that transmit light in a green wavelength band and the number of filters that transmit light in a blue wavelength band satisfy a prescribed condition; a first gain adjustment unit (411) which adjusts gain of an electrical signal that is generated by the imaging element (202); a demosaicing process unit (412) which generates an image signal of a color component that the filter transmits on the basis of the electrical signal that is gain-adjusted by the first gain adjustment unit (411); a color conversion process unit (413) which carries out a color conversion process on the image signal when the light source unit (3) emits white illumination light; and a second gain adjustment unit (414) which adjusts the gain of each of the image signals after the color conversion process. |
