<p>A video signal generating unit (10) scales a plurality of pieces of first video data to generate a first video signal, and a second video signal generating unit (20) generates a video signal, which is to be displayed, from a second video signal generated by scaling a plurality of pieces of second video data and from the first video signal received from the first video signal generating unit (10). The second video signal generating unit (20) generates the second video signal by processing the scaled pieces of second video data by use of video processing information corresponding to scaling information received from the first video signal generating unit (10). The scaling at the first video signal generating unit (10) includes scaling-up of a piece of first video data selected from the plurality of pieces of first video data, while the scaling information transmitted from the first video signal generating unit (10) includes determination information for determining the selected piece of first video data and also includes scaling-up information indicating a scaling-up factor of the scaling-up of the selected piece of first video data.</p> |
