The present invention relates to a system for monitoring soil-dwelling arthropods, which comprises: a collection unit including an attraction means capable of attracting soil-dwelling arthropods since a space is formed therein, and installed on the ground as a lower part thereof is open; a filming unit installed in an upper part of the collection unit for filming the inside of the collection unit; and a power supply unit for supplying current to the filming unit. In addition, the present invention relates to a method for monitoring soil-dwelling arthropods by using the system for monitoring soil-dwelling arthropods, which comprises the steps of: setting operation time of a filming means as a control means of photographing time; filming the inside of the collection unit with the filming means with respect to the set time; and storing the image filmed through the filming means.
