PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an organic electroluminescent element in which decrease in the luminance/luminous efficiency incident to deterioration of an electrode, or occurence of leakage incident to adhesion of particles to the electrode surface, can be prevented.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing an organic electroluminescent element includes a first electrode formation step S3 for forming a first electrode on a substrate, an organic function layer formation step S4 for forming an organic function layer including a luminous layer so as to be laminated on the first electrode, and a second electrode formation step S5 for forming a second electrode so as to be laminated on the organic function layer. The process from the first electrode formation step S3 to the second electrode formation step S5 is carried out by the roll-to-roll system under vacuum atmosphere. |
