LIGHT GUIDE PLATE AND BACKLIGHT UNIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light guide plate and a backlight unit which can improve front surface light-emission luminance.SOLUTION: A light guide plate includes: an upper surface including a first side extended in a first direction and a second side extended in a second direction; a lower surface arranged in the way that it faces the upper surface; and a first side surface and a second side surface which are arranged opposite to each other between the upper surface and the lower surface. The lower surface includes a plurality of scattering patterns formed by a reference surface in the way that it protrudes from or is recessed into the reference surface. The scattering pattern includes a first inclined surface making a first angle with the reference surface and a second inclined surface whose one end is in contact with the first inclined surface and makes a second angle with the reference surface. The angle of the first angle is any angle ranging from 1.8 degrees to 5.7 degrees.
