PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector terminal for press fit capable of improving instability of contact loads due to tolerance (variation) of a through hole diameter on a printed circuit board by pressurizing contact pieces to be made into thin plate shapes, and a method for manufacturing the same. ! SOLUTION: A connector terminal for press fit comprises: a pin part 11 (pin part formation area 1); a shaft part 12 (a shaft part formation area 2); and a contact part 14 (contact part formation area 5) in which a plurality of contact pieces 13 (piece parts 5c) are arranged so as to surround the shaft part 12 in a state of forming a projection outside. In addition, connection parts 15, 16 (marginal parts 5a, 5b) with C-shaped cross sections surrounding the shaft part 12 are provided on tip sides and base end sides of the plurality of contact pieces 13 constituting the contact part 14.
