PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for preventing a function usable in a state before user authentication from not being used after the user authentication due to the setting of use authority in an information processing device for separately controlling use permission/inhibition of each function by user authentication.SOLUTION: When a user performs user authentication for performing log-in as another user (log-in user) while logging-in to an information processing device (MFP) of this invention as an automatic log-in user who does not need user authentication, the MFP compares use authority of the automatic log-in user with use authority of the log-in user in each function. When there is a function that is not permitted to be used by the log-in user among functions which are permitted to be used by the automatic log-in user as a result of the comparison, the MFP modifies the use authority of the log-in user about the function so as to permit the log-in user to use the function. |
