<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably convey paper sheets differing in width by a paper sheet processing device.SOLUTION: A paper sheet processing device includes: an entrance sensor which detects the width of an inserted paper sheet; a conveying mechanism which is provided at a conveyance path for paper sheet and conveys the inserted paper sheet; a movable wall which varies the width of the conveyance path; a fixed wall which is provided along a storage part for paper sheet, and forms a first branch conveyance path and a second branch conveyance path narrower in width than the first branch conveyance path; and a drive part which changes the position of the movable wall according to the width of the paper sheet detected by the entrance sensor. The movable wall is positioned opposite to the second branch conveyance path, and an inclined surface for guiding a wide paper sheet to the first branch conveyance path when the wide paper sheet is conveyed from the conveyance path provided with the movable wall is formed at both ends of the second branch conveyance path.</p> |
