SOLUTION: The method for estimating a sound source position comprises the steps of: (S1) generating a pair of sound pressure data; (S2) performing short time Fourier transformation processing to calculate frequency intensities PA and PB; (S3) extracting frequency bandwidth data of a sound to be detected in a time zone in which the sound to be detected is generated and continued; (S4) calculating after-normalization frequency intensities PSA and PSB; (S5) calculating differences PdSA and PdSB in the after-normalization frequency intensities; (S6) calculating the maximum cross correlation time between the differences PdSA and PdSB in the after-normalization frequency intensities; (S7) calculating the maximum autocorrelation time of the difference PdSA or PdSB in the after-normalization frequency intensities; and (S8) multiplying a time difference between the maximum autocorrelation time and the maximum cross correlation time |
