PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a food product in a packaging bag from jumping out by jetting gas from a gas filling tube into the packaging bag. ! SOLUTION: A packaging machine 10 includes: a chamber 12 housing a packaging bag housing a packaged object on the closing part side of a bottom; a gas filling tube 20 for filling gas from the opening of the packaging bag in the chamber 12; and a sealing device 30 provided in the chamber 12 and sealing the opening part peripheral edge of the packaging bag. The packaging bag is sealed by filling gas from the gas filling tube 20 into the packaging bag, and sealing the opening part peripheral edge of packaging bag with the sealing device 30.
