The present invention concerns a method of controlling a layout of media items on a user interface of a touch sensitive display. The invention also concerns a mobile electronic communication device using the method.

1. A method of controlling a layout of media items on a user interface for a mobile electronic device comprising a touch sensitive display, the method comprising:
detecting a dual touch action comprising two touch points, determining a distance and direction of a movement of the two touch points in relation to each other, changing the layout of the media items on the user interface in response to the determined distance and direction of the relative movement, and positioning the media items with the changed layout on the user interface so that the media items with the changed layout is shown over the width of the touch sensitive display.
