A through anchor (10) is configured in such a manner that, when a vehicle occupant is restrained by webbing (30) in an emergency situation of the vehicle, the webbing (30) is moved in an insertion hole (20) in a guide piece (18) toward the front of the vehicle by the movement of the vehicle occupant due to inertia, and the surface of the webbing (30), which is located at the front end, relative to the vehicle, of the webbing (30) comes into contact under a high load condition with the peripheral surface of the insertion hole (22). A gap is formed between the guide piece (18) and an anchor plate (12). Consequently, the guide piece (18) is moved by the webbing (30) toward the front of the vehicle relative to the anchor plate (12) and, therefore, the webbing (30) is prevented from being displaced in the insertion hole (22) toward the front of the vehicle. |
