<p>[Problem] To enable a passenger to easily fasten a seat belt without twisting his body when sitting. [Solution] A seat belt device includes: a retractor device (10) configured to wind up a seat belt (2) while biasing one end of the belt toward a winding direction and to enable unwinding of the one end of the seat belt (2), while preventing the unwinding of the one end of the seat belt (2) when a predetermined condition is satisfied; a tongue (5) fitted to the seat belt (2) to engage a buckle; an arm (4) with a proximal end supported on a vehicle in such a way that the end of the arm can be swung in a front-rear direction of the vehicle, the arm having a riding position where the one end of the seat belt (2) is unwound when the arm is upright with the end of the arm being swung toward the front of the vehicle, or an alighting position where the one end of the seat belt (2) is drawn back when the arm is brought down with the end of the arm swung toward the rear of the vehicle; and a swinging device (50) that modifies the arm (4) to the riding position or the alighting position in accordance with the riding/alighting state of the passenger.</p> |
