The present invention relates to a tyre for vehicles intended to carry heavy loads, the tread of which comprises a composition based on at least one elastomer matrix comprising a polyisoprene and a thermoplastic styrenic saturated elastomer comprising at least one rigid styrenic segment and at least one flexible hydrogenated diene, a reinforcing filler and a cross-linking system, the polyisoprene comprising more than 50% of the difference between the mass of the elastomer matrix and the mass of the thermoplastic styrenic saturated elastomer, the thermoplastic styrenic saturated elastomer comprising at most 50% by mass of the elastomer matrix. Such a tyre has improved resistance to the propagation of cracks.
