PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience for an operator by performing deletion processing on appropriate data among generated data.SOLUTION: In an electronic writing device 2, coordinate data generated by a writing action onto a paper medium 70 are acquired. A plurality of stroke data items corresponding to descriptions onto the paper medium 70 are generated, the stroke data are temporarily stored in a RAM 203, and the stored stroke data are transmitted to an external server SV and stored. In the timing when it is determined that memory consumption in the RAM 203 reaches a predetermined threshold value, for the unit of a predetermined number of coordinate data items which are adjacently continued among all the coordinate data included in all the stroke data stored in the RAM 203, a stroke mode connecting the predetermined number of position data items is detected and in accordance with a result of the detection, (m) stages of thinning processing are performed upon all the coordinate data included in all the stroke data stored in the RAM 203. |
