PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus which uses a compound-eye optical system and is capable of preventing an imaging position from being varied although the imaging apparatus is low-priced and mass-production is enabled, and a manufacturing method of the imaging apparatus. ! SOLUTION: With temperature rising, substrates ST1 and ST2 of array lenses AL1 and AL2 and a first spacer SP1 are also thermally expanded but a thermal expansion amount of the first spacer SP1 is more than thermal expansion amounts of the substrates ST1 and ST2.
