PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a flow of refrigerant of a heat exchanger to set from a gas pipe to a liquid pipe even for hot gas bypass defrosting, and enable a temperature sensor and criteria necessary to determine end of defrosting to be shared with inverse cycle defrosting. ! SOLUTION: An air conditioner outdoor unit includes a first selector valve switching a connection destination of a gas pipe to an intake side or a discharge side of a compressor; a second selector valve switching a connection destination of gas of an outdoor heat exchanger to the intake side or the discharge side of the compressor; a bypass pipe branched off from between a liquid side of the outdoor heat exchanger and an outdoor expansion valve and connected to the intake side of the compressor; and a bypass on-off valve opening or closing a channel of the bypass pipe.
