PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boot for a constant velocity joint which can prevent the vibration of rolling bodies during the transportation of the temporarily-assembled constant velocity joint, and can maintain a state that an inside rotating member and the rolling bodies are held until the constant velocity joint is re-assembled. ! SOLUTION: In a boot 121, an inner ring 40 and balls 50 assembled into a cage 60 are held in a holding groove 130, an outer ring 20 is engaged with the boot, and thereby a constant velocity joint 10 can be temporarily assembled. Therefore, the vibration of the balls 50 in transportation can be prevented by the boot 121. Then, the inner ring 40 and the balls 50 assembled into the cage 60 can maintain a state of being held at the holding groove 130 until the constant velocity joint 10 is re-assembled. !
