PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a square bottom bag having an extending bottom joint piece in the bottom face of a square bottom part and having a square bottom portion improved in the seating property thereby to improve a self-standing property. ! SOLUTION: In a square bottom bag 1, the back face end edges of the individual lower edge parts of at least two extension parts of a front face extension part 21, a back face extension part 22 and side face extension parts 23 and 24 of a square bottom part 20 are jointed to each other to form bottom joint pieces 25 and 26 extending outward.
