PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an album layout device and an album layout method capable of easily comparing subjects, a program therefor, and a recording medium storing the program. ! SOLUTION: An electronic album generation device reads many picked-up image files G. The read picked-up image files G are classified into a plurality of picked-up image groups Ga to Ge each of which is identical in an imaging location and an imaging direction. The picked-up image group Ga including the most picked-up images is determined as one picked-up image group among the picked-up image groups Ga to Ge. The picked-up images included in the determined picked-up image group are pasted on different pages so that the picked-up images are identical in position on spreads constituting an electronic album. !
