PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine plate data creating device for creating the printing plate data enabled to acquire a stable color tone by reducing the difference in the pattern area rate of each ink supply area fed with ink by an ink key. ! SOLUTION: On the basis of printing plate data and for the individual ink supply areas, there are acquired pattern area ratios, of which there is selected an ink supply area corresponding to a pattern area ratio other than the minimum (excepting 0%). At the individual ink supply areas selected, color conversion processing for bringing the pattern area rate of said ink supply area closer to the minimum is performed for the component pattern arranged in said ink supply area. !
