The invention relates to a rotating grating tool (1), in particular for comminuting plant parts, preferably tubers such as potatoes or arrowroots, in order to obtain starch, having multiple grating blade arrangements which are inserted into grooves (5) provided for this purpose in a distributed manner on the circumference of a rotor (3). At least one or more of the grooves (5) has at least one respective grating blade arrangement provided with two or more grating blades (10a, 10b). According to the invention, at least one or both of the following features a. and b. is/are implemented: a. in the grating blade arrangement(s) with two or more grating blades (10a, 10b), each of which is arranged collectively in one of the grooves (5), each of the grating blades(10a, 10b) or in any case each of the grating blades which are adjacent in the circumferential direction are arranged in said groove (5) at an angle relative to one another, said angle being smaller than the groove (5) wedge angle α formed between the groove flanks (8a, 8b), and b. each of the two or more grating blades (10a, 10b) of the grating blade arrangement(s) are held in a radial manner in the respective groove (5) by at least one or more retaining means. |
