PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging element mounting board capable of preventing generation of a deformation such as a deflection, cracks or breaking on an insulation substrate of an imaging element mounting board.SOLUTION: The imaging element mounting board 1 includes: an insulation substrate 2 which has an imaging element mounting part 11; a metal flat plate 4 which is provided to the insulation substrate 2 on the upper face thereof and has an opening 4a, and which has an outer area 4c which is positioned outside of an outer periphery of the insulation substrate 2 in a top view; an external connection terminal 5 which is provided to the bottom face of the insulation substrate 2; and an auxiliary terminal 6 which is provided to the bottom face of the insulation substrate 2 outside of the external connection terminal 5. The auxiliary terminal 6 is positioned crossing an inner periphery 4b of the opening 4a of the metal flat plate 4 in a top view.
