PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component mounting method or the like capable of preventing reduction in productivity by continuing a mounting operation by another mounting head during imaging of a component using imaging means that moves integrally with one mounting head, even in the case where a mounting error of the component that is not settled within a visual field of imaging of the imaging means is detected.SOLUTION: In the process of independently executing a mounting turn in two mounting work parts, if a mounting error is detected where a component is present while being held by an adsorption nozzle even after a mounting operation by any one of first and second mounting heads, a mounting error confirming work part determines whether the component is settled within the visual field of imaging of a substrate recognition camera that moves integrally with one mounting head. If not settled within the visual field of imaging, the mounting error confirming work part images a mounting position in a divided manner multiple times while moving the substrate recognition camera. During this imaging, the other mounting head continues the mounting operation while avoiding interference with the one mounting head. |
