PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a short circuit between a positive electrode and a negative electrode due to a deposit on an electrode plate, in a power storage body such as a lithium ion secondary battery. ! SOLUTION: An electrode plate is covered by a double-folded sheet comprising an insulator. Bonding is performed on portions of the sheet which overlap with each other in a peripheral part of the electrode plate. One or more openings are formed in the electrode plate, and the sheet is bonded to each other also in the openings. By forming such a bonding portion, the sheet can be brought into close contact with the electrode plate and also the displacement between the sheet and the electrode plate can be prevented. When the electrode plate is deformed or vibrated, the sheet can be rubbed against a surface of the electrode plate, so that a deposit can be removed from the surface of the electrode plate. !
