(a) contacting said stem cells and/or progenitor cells with a cryopreservation medium, said cryopreservation medium comprising:
between 4 v/v % and 25 v/v % of propylene glycol; andbetween 1.0 w/v % and 10 w/v % of one or more sugars;wherein said medium is characterized in that it does not comprise DMSO or an arabinogalactan; and (b) slow-freezing said cells, thereby obtaining a frozen composition comprising said cells and said cryopreservation medium. |
