This assembly (4) for a toilet bowl (1) comprises a seat (5) lid and a seat support (6), said seat (5) comprising a rear base (5<u>a</u>) extended by a front annular portion (5<u>b</u>), extending in a plane (<u>P</u>), said rear base (5a) being pivotably mounted on said seat support (6) about a horizontal axis (7) so as to allow same to be manoeuvred by raising or lowering relative to said toilet bowl (1). This assembly (4) comprises a manoeuvring arm (8) of which the rear end part (9) is fastened directly to one of the sides of the rear base (5<u>a</u>) of the seat (5). When the seat (5) is in the lowered position on said bowl (1), said rear end part (9) extends upwards relative to said plane (<u>P</u>), and forwards, on the side of the annular portion (5<u>b</u>), said arm (8) further comprising a free end constituting a manual gripping member allowing the seat (5) to be manoeuvred by raising or lowering. |
