PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a headwear that can simultaneously secure air permeability and light shield ability and that facilitates manufacturing. ! SOLUTION: The headwear of the present invention is a baseball cap type and configured to have a visor (4) in the front lower end of a head circumference part (3) and a crown (2) connected to the upper end of the head circumference part (3). A front part (3a) of the head circumference part is formed of a slope expanding outward of the headwear toward the lower end. The front lower end of the head circumference part is connected to both side parts (4a) at one end of the visor but not to a center (4b) at the one end of the visor (4). As a result, a space is provided between the visor (4) and the head circumference part (3). The center (4b) at the one end of the visor is situated inside of the headwear rather than the front lower end of the head circumference part.
