PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foldable display device which can be surely held in an expanded state without increasing the number of components, and an imaging apparatus. ! SOLUTION: The foldable display device with a plurality display units includes: horizontal hinge parts having revolving shafts to connect the plurality of display units so that the plurality of display units are turnable around a first direction; vertical hinge parts having revolving shafts to connect the plurality of display units so that the plurality of display units are turnable around a second direction different from the first direction; and fixing members which fix the vertical hinge parts in an expanded state where the plurality of display units are arranged on the same plane.
