The lighting device is embodied in such a way that light generated by the laser light source arrangement is directed onto at least one light wavelength conversion element by the pivotable mirrors. The at least two pivotable mirrors are embodied in such a way that light reflected at a first pivotable mirror is directable onto a first surface section of at least one light wavelength conversion element in order to form a first illuminatable region of the at least one light wavelength conversion element, and light reflected at a second pivotable mirror is directable onto a second surface section of the at least one light wavelength conversion element in order to form a second illuminatable region of the at least one light wavelength conversion element. The first and second illuminatable regions partly overlap.
