<p>Provided is a method for monitoring a user on the basis of time during which an electronic device is not used. A method for monitoring a user according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: calculating non-use time of an electronic device; and making connection with an appointed contact when the non-use time exceeds a pre-configured time. Therefore, the present invention can prevent an emergency situation, accident, solitary death, etc. and enables rapid resolution thereof even without an active action by a user.</p> |
