A lithium-ion battery protector, comprising a broken-circuit protection switch (10) arranged in a charging loop of a lithium-ion battery pack, wherein the broken-circuit protection switch (10) realizes the switching-on or switching-off of a charging loop of a lithium-ion battery pack (40) via the shape change of a shape memory alloy at different temperatures. The lithium-ion battery protector uses the memorability, interference resistance, high pressure resistance and passive overcurrent capacity of the shape memory alloy. Since the physical characteristic of a material of a switch is used, the functions of battery core balancing and over-charging suppression are taken into account while triggering the switch using a temperature signal. A battery module is guaranteed to realize the expectable random series-parallel connection usage, thereby reducing the usage threshold of a lithium power battery.
