The invention relates to a document of value comprising particulate agglomerates each containing at least two different homogeneous phases, wherein the first homogeneous phase is formed of a material that is luminescent and emitting at a particular emission wavelength, and the second homogeneous phase is formed of a non-luminescent material that can be detected using a spectroscopic technique, and wherein, when analysing measured values - which values can be obtained by carrying out a site-specific measurement, at different sites of the value document, of the luminescent intensity at the particular emission wavelength and the intensity of the measured signal of the spectroscopic technique - there is a statistical correlation between the luminescent intensity at the particular emission wavelength and the intensity of the measured signal of the particular spectroscopic technique. |
