<p>A system and method is provided for cleaning patient monitoring cables including: retracting a cable using a retraction mechanism; receiving, by a housing unit, the cable; and directing, based on movement of the cable, the cable into the housing unit. The innovation may further include: providing cleaning means to the housing unit; protracting the cable; and providing drying means to the housing unit.</p> |
