<p>A firefighting device is described, which is adapted for use in a laundry washing or washing/drying household appliance, said household appliance comprising an internal tub adapted to contain water, the device comprising: - a hydraulic duct (TU) adapted to supply water into the tub (C) for said firefighting function; - an electromechanical actuator (EVW, EVA) adapted to either enable or stop the supply of water into the tub through said hydraulic duct (TU); - an electromechanical switch (THF) adapted to detect the temperature inside the tub and to control said electromechanical actuator (EVW, EVA) in such a way as to enable the supply of water upon detection of a temperature exceeding a first threshold, and to stop the supply of water upon detection of a temperature below a second threshold, which is lower than said first threshold; - said electromechanical switch (THF) and electromechanical actuator (EVW, EVA) being electrically connected to an electric input connection of the appliance.</p> |
