<p>Provided are an electronic device, a method for correcting typographical errors, and a computer-readable recording medium comprising a program for carrying out the method. The electronic device comprises: an input unit for receiving input of a first set of characters from a user; a control unit for replacing a third set of characters to be corrected, which are selected from a second set of characters positioned before the first set of characters, with the first set of characters; a saving unit including a typographical error correction action and a score adjustment element which serve as the basis for the replacement; and a display unit for displaying the third set of characters as the first set of characters, wherein the score adjustment element may comprise at least one type of data related to the distance between the first set of characters and the second set of characters, the speed at which the sets of characters are inputted, a case in which a search should be carried out again because candidates for the third set of characters have not been extracted from the second set of characters, a case in which the combination of a combined-type character set is unreadable, and the probability of inputting a second letter adjacent to a first letter within the second set of characters.</p> |
