A mammography apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention can minimize displeasure generated due to a low temperature in body contact by maintaining an increase in the temperature of a body contact part. A mammography apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention includes an X-ray generation part which generates an X-ray and an X-ray detection part which includes a detector which detects an X-ray and passes through an object and obtains X-ray data. The X-ray detection part includes a housing which forms appearance, a thermoelectric element which is formed in the housing and allows a cooling part to face the lower side of the detector, and a heat pipe which is extended from the heating part of the thermoelectric element to the inside of the housing.
