PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method of scale detection in a concentrator capable of previously acquiring crystal deposition on a filtration permeable membrane in the concentrator and to provide a reproduction treatment system of water.SOLUTION: A scale detection device in a concentrator comprises: a reverse osmosis membrane device 13 which is the concentrator having a reverse osmosis membrane 13a concentrating a salt content from treatment water 11 containing at least gypsum and being a filtration membrane to obtain fresh water 12; and a scale detection part 15 having a detection membrane 15a being disposed on a branch line Lbranched from a concentrated water line Lto discharge a concentrated water 14 in which the salt content is concentrated, obtaining fresh water 16 for detection by concentrating further the salt content in the concentrated water 14 and detecting whether a scale component in the concentrated water 14 is deposited or not.
