LIQUID CRYSTAL GRATING, DISPLAY DEVICE, AND DRIVE METHOD

A liquid crystal grating, comprising a grating element group used for forming a plurality of dark stripes and light-transmissive stripes; the dark stripes of each grating element being adjacent to the light-transmissive stripes of the adjacent grating element group; each grating element group comprising a parallel arrangement of a plurality of first grating elements and at least one second grating element; at least one of the transmittances of the first grating element being used for forming a light-transmissive stripe of the grating element group; different first grating element transmittances resulting in change in position of the light-transmissive stripe; the second grating element being opaque, the opaque first grating elements and second grating element being used for forming the dark stripes of a grating element group, and the second grating element having a width greater than the width of the first grating elements. Also provided are a display device and drive method. The positioning of the slits of the liquid crystal grating may be adjusted, solving the problem in the prior art of the number of electrodes being excessive, easily leading to short circuits and thus line defects.
