The invention relates to an exhaust gas treatment system (10) to be fitted on a chassis (2) of an automotive vehicle (1). The system (10) comprises a selective catalytic reduction device (12) and a gaseous fluid supplying device (13). The gaseous fluid supplying device (13) comprises a tank (14) containing a material (15) which is capable of retaining gaseous fluid by absorption and/or adsorption and/or formation of chemical complexes, and of releasing previously retained gaseous fluid. The gaseous fluid supplying device (13) further comprises a gaseous fluid delivery system (16) capable of causing the release of gaseous fluid by the material (15) and an injection system (17) for injecting gaseous fluid upstream from the selective catalytic reduction device (12). Additionally the system may comprise a particulate filtering device (11). The particulate filtering device (11), the selective catalytic reduction device (12) and the gaseous fluid supplying device (13) are arranged within a same frame (21) which comprises fastening means (22) for fastening the frame (21) to the vehicle chassis (2).
