In a method according to the invention for connecting a calibration standard (2,3,4,7;17) in a corresponding calibrating module (1;1´;1´´) according to the invention to a network analyzer (11) terminal (10) to be calibrated in a controlled manner, the network analyzer (11) terminal (10) to be calibrated is connected to a high-frequency terminal (5) of the calibrating module (1;1´;1´´). A high-frequency signal generated in the network analyzer (11), said signal comprising information which signals the calibration standard (2,3,4,7;17) to be used, is transmitted to the high-frequency terminal (5) of the calibrating module (1;1´;1´´). In the calibrating module (1;1´;1´´) according to the invention, the information signaling the calibration standard (2,3,4,7;17) to be used is detected from the high-frequency signal received in the calibrating module (1;1´;1´´), and the calibration standard (2,3,4,7;17) which is used is connected to the high-frequency terminal (5) of the calibrating module (1;1´;1´´) by means of a control unit (15) integrated into the calibrating module (1;1´;1´´). |
