PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide radio communication equipment capable of changing the transmission interval of identification information as necessary.SOLUTION: A peripheral 200 for performing radio communication based on Bluetooth (R) low energy with a central includes: an advertisement transmission part 251; a scan request reception part 252; a response transmission part 253; an interval changing part 254; and a connection request reception part 255. The advertisement transmission part 251 transmits an advertisement at a predetermined interval. The scan request reception part 252 receives a scan request transmitted from the central which has received the advertisement. The response transmission part 253 transmits a scan response to the central which has transmitted the scan request. The interval changing part 254 changes the interval of the advertisement to an interval shorter than the current interval, and puts it back to an original interval after the lapse of a fixed time. The connection request reception part 255 receives a connection request transmitted from the central which has received the scan response, and establishes connection with the central.
