PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately change a display direction of an image displayed on a display device.SOLUTION: A display control device includes: display means which displays an image on a display screen; inclination specification means which specifies an inclination angle of the display screen; change determination means which determines whether it is necessary to change a display direction or not on the basis of the inclination angle and the display direction on the display screen of the image; input determination means which determines whether a user has performed touch input to the display screen or not; change management means which permits the change of the display direction of the image if it is determined that it is necessary to change the display direction and that the user has not performed touch input, and inhibits the change of the display direction if it is determined that it is necessary to change the display direction and that the user has performed touch input; and image editing means which edits the image to change the display direction of the image when the change of the display direction is permitted.
