PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an approach notification device which allows a pedestrian to confirm a vehicle or the like approaching from the back being a dead angle of the pedestrian and can secure high safety of the pedestrian.SOLUTION: An approach notification device 1 includes: an approach situation detection part 2 which can detect an approach situation of a traveling vehicle or the like approaching from the back of a pedestrian; and an approach situation notification part 7 which can notify the pedestrian of the approach situation by appealing to at least one of the visual sense, acoustic sense and tactile sense of the pedestrian. The approach situation detection part 2 is preferably one or more of an infrared sensor (A), an ultrasonic sensor (B), and a camera (C). |
