(a) an aqueous phase having a preservative system containing: (i) from about 0.01% to about 1% by weight of at least one aromatic alcohol; (ii) from about 0.01% to about 1% by weight of at least one aromatic carboxylic acid; and (iii) from about 0.01% to about 0.5% by weight of at least one chlorophenyl glyceryl ether, all weights based on the total weight of the composition; and (b) an oil phase; wherein the composition does not require use of parabens, ethanol and/or glycols having C5 to C12 alkyl chains, as preservatives. |
