<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a residual charcoal molding with which occurrence of dust can be suppressed and which is excellent in strength. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing a residual charcoal molding includes: a modified charcoal producing step to mix coal and a solvent and extract a coal constituent soluble in the solvent, and subsequently to separate the extract including a constituent soluble in the solvent and the residue including a constituent insoluble in the solvent from each other, and to separate the solvent from the extract and recover ashless coal and separate the solvent from the residue and recover residual charcoal; and a molding step to mold the residual charcoal into a residual charcoal molding as a lump, wherein in the molding step the residual charcoal is mixed with water so as to obtain a mixture of the residual charcoal and water with water concentration adjusted to 2 to 13 mass%, and the residual charcoal molding is obtained by molding the mixture. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
