<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate transportation of a floating body and throwing-in of a ballast material; to secure stability of the floating body; and to easily remove the ballast material even during the removal of offshore wind power generation facilities. <P>SOLUTION: The offshore wind power generation facilities include: the floating body 2; a mooring cable that is connected to the floating body 2; a tower that is erected on the floating body 2; and a nacelle and a plurality of windmill blades, which are provided on the top of the tower. A method for constructing the offshore wind power generation facilities includes: a first procedure of floating the floating body 2 sideways on the sea and of towing the floating body 2 to an offshore installation location; a second procedure of erecting the floating body 2 in an upright state by injecting water or sea water into the floating body 2, in the offshore installation location; and a third procedure of transporting a fluid to the inside of the floating body 2 by mixing the water or the sea water with a powdery and granular ballast material 43 higher in specific gravity than the water, and of throwing the ballast material 43 into the floating body 2 by pumping up redundant water inside the floating body 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
