<p>The present invention is directed to an in vitro method for the expansion of T cells, a solid bead having a conventional anti-CD28 monoclonal antibody immobilized thereto, and to a kit containing the same. Furthermore, the present invention is directed to the use of a conventional anti-CD28 monoclonal antibody in the in vitro expansion of T cells. The in vitro method involves reacting T cells from a donor with immobilized conventional anti-CD28 monoclonal antibodies under suitable conditions thereby expanding the T cells.</p> |
